Foreword#

Hi There! Welcome to my blog for the 2023–2024 ULB class “How To Make (almost) Any Experiments Using Digital Fabrication” where I will take you with me through this journey of identifying worldwide problems and resolving them individually or as a team.

This will require a lot of digital fabrication tools and skills. But you don’t have to worry, fasten up your seat belt and watch me document all the work and process from using a simple cloud-based service like GitHub to the whole explanation of my final project

About me#

I am Ali Bahja. I am on my third year as an undergraduate in computer science at Université libre de Bruxelles. I love innovations and creativity, which were the key reasons of my choice over any other major, and also picking this class specifically from all the other options.

To create my own thing from scratch that some people might find useful in some way is a great starting point for my career and a solid base for future projects. So I am really excited to start it and share it with you, my classmates and teacher.

Visit my GitHub to see all the projects that I have worked on individually or with my classmates.

My background#

I was born in Tangier, a beautiful city in the north of Morocco. I moved to Brussels after graduating from high school when I was 18 years old. I was specialized in mathematical science for 2 years, which made many computer science concepts easier for me. One thing that I miss about my home city is seeing the sea and the ocean every day while going to school or just hanging out with my friends near the beach or by the old city on a sunny day.
